Ian has been working with his hands since he can remember. His creativity and passion to build unique spaces shows in each project he completes. He brings substantive experience across the industry, starting with building custom residential homes.
Ian made the big move from Ontario to Alberta in 2006 where he began custom framing homes in the Calgary area. He learned from many different trades in the field and began increasing his network of professionals so he could begin expanding his offerings to his clients.
In 2014, Ian moved to the Greater Vancouver area to specialize in architectural and engineered concrete formwork for all types of residential, commercial, and mixed-use construction projects within British Columbia.
With this move, carried his dream to start his own contracting business. He needed to share his creativity and passion of building. Making people happy and turning someones vision into reality has been the most rewarding, especially when he can save them money along the way.
Ian founded Roberts Carpentry Inc. in 2019, bringing 14 years of experience with him and the promise to make the home renovation experience easy for his customers. Communication and creativity are the main components to achieve this. Followed up with his in-depth experience and skills, he will turn your vision into a reality. Ian loves a challenge and works hard to keep any project within budget. No job is too big or too small.
